Spent the holiday weekend doing the dreaded rear brake overhaul on my 92 XJS. That all went well (Thank God!) but unfortunately in getting the rear suspension back in the car it became apparent both of my rear mufflers were shot. Are there any recommendations for replacements?

I want as close to like new from the factory sound as possible and will reuse all the stock pipes and tips.

 

They are available from Jaguar. I got mine from Terrys jags main dealer parts dept. They can be had in SS too. Also got most of the system including both tips from various dealers new over the last year.

I actually have 4 of these from 2 parts cars 89 xjs both around 66k miles and look to be in good shape. I'm in WV and would estimate shipping around 40 bucks... Will sell 2, including shipping for 100. and if they do not work, will refund all but shipping !!! Not looking to rip anyone off and think these are reasonable. Question is, do you ??

Ah! I already pulled the trigger through Jagbits, which had them at a much more reasonable number. I appreciate the offer, but I'm going to roll with the new parts at this point. Thanks again,
