Default Rear window leak!

So I have been fighting water in my 93 XJS convertibles floorboards with heavy rains. I knew it was coming in at the front of the driver's door above the speaker, but I put in new weatherstripping and thought that took care of it. Needless to say after a heavy rain the other day I checked my floors. Sure enough there was about an inch in the driver's floor. Drrrrrrr! It was supposed to rain two days later so I decided to sit in it while it did. First thing I noticed was that I have two decent drips at my rear window. I also noticed that the leak at the front of the door, while reduced, is still there. ARGH! How does the rear window get sealed? Anyone else have the leak above the speaker?

Leak around the speaker been there done that. Please rip out your carpets and soak the metal in a rust proofing spray, coat the carpet, scuff plate etc in Neverwet or other outdoor furniture waterproofer.

A new door seal should of done it but your door may not be closing tight enough and/or the little metal water sill may be bent in, it would help if you send a picture. Also rolling the window down while placing your knee on the wood panel and pulling the top of the door in can work to tighten the seal.

30+ years of slamming a car door will push things out a bit, the rest of your leaks I can't say never had a convertible, again pictures help.

Luckily the carpets are out from the previous owner trying to figure out the no start. Also I removed the door card when I looked into the driver's window not working, and decided to leave them out until I fixied the leaks. Great idea about coating everything though! The door seems to be lined up well, however I did notice that the chrome on the left side vs the right side looks different, but doesn't look bent. I'll try to get a couple of pictures today.
