hi does anyone know if there are any rear window louvers avilable for thee xjs 82? either aftermarket or oem.

Your best bet is a Jag breakers or ebay.

Wow. Rear window louvers. That's an '80s thing. Seemed that every Trans Am and Z28 had them back in the day. I even bought a set for my 1973 Mach 1. I dunno if anybody manufactured them for the XJS back in the '80s, seems to me that the coupe rear window would be a bit too vertical for them to look good....that and the rear "flying buttresses" would prevent them from being viewed from the side. They seemed to look better on cars with a more horizontal rear window, such as fastbacks and hatchbacks. But, they were a hot accessory back then, and if they thought there would be enough of a market for it, anything is possible.

uhmm, i might be wrong, but my first assumption was that he was asking about the vinyl rear window trim.

rear louvers on a coupe would be weird. the glass is too steep.
