Does anyone know how to reattach the right rear rain gutter on a 1994 coupe ? I was given her a bath and caught the edge of the trim with my towel. Unfortunately it bent outward a bit and I can easily push it back down but I don’t see how we reconnect. If I put a little electrical tape wad behind the lower section all the way to the rear it will almost properly align the edges but not quite in it still won’t stay down. Anyone know how thats done?

 

Well, after much head scratching I've finally fixed it! I fabricated a small joiner to go in between the two ends and used RTV cement to hold and protect the joiner. I then used more RTV behind the loose section. After that I used a dowel and some weights to gently push the whole section back into alignment. After about 2 hours the dowel came off and "voila" the thing stuck in place perfectly.
