Default Recommendation for quality rebuilt steering racks?

Looks like I need another steering rack. I've had bad luck with rebuilt steering racks- this is the 4th. The original was a mess when I bought the car, the 2nd failed a couple of years in, the 3rd arrived bad and was sent back. The 4th seemed to do the trick, until about a year ago.
For a number of reasons, the big cat has been sitting more than being driven since the pandemic started (I know, bad Jag owner). About a year ago, I noticed the steering wasn't returning to 0 when I'd turn a corner. I took it in and the shop owner said the steering rack was bad. This is the 4th rack. The owner of the shop quoted me to replace it, but said I'd need to source a new rack.
Another year went by.

I've recently taken it in to get smogged and now the steering feels like it's mostly lost all power assist (except in spots), and won't turn all the way right or left. Power steering pump is new-ish, full of fluid, no leaks.

I'd actually like to start racking up the miles again, but the general consensus is that I need to buy steering rack number 5 before it's safe to do so.

Can anyone recommend a source for a quality rebuilt steering rack? Welsh has them for about $1000.00. I've spent an eye watering amount of money on this car since I bought it 12 years ago, so it's not that I can't spend the money, but I'd like a rack that lasts longer than a set of tires.

Thoughts?

Thanks,
Rhett
