relay 33374b replacement
is there some equivalent to the 3374b lucas relay used on the cooling system that i can just get at autozone or the like??
i can only them used on ebay. I am assuming since this is so there must be something NEW with a different part number?
thanks.

Is this for the electric cooling fan?
Are there numbers next to the terminals? Are they 30-85-86-87a-87? If so that's a very common configuration. You can buy one at most auto parts stores, radio shack, stereo installers, umpteen on-line vendors.

yeah it is, thanks. I didn't know relays were setup that way, I figured it was more of a part number compatibility thing.
thanks, im really no good with electrics.
Although i did manage to rig up the aux fan with it out and the temp sensor out with no relay so thats something i guess.

Here's one:
12 VDC Automotive 5-Pin Relay SPDT 30/40A Bosch Type
You can get with/without the mounting tab, metal or plastic case.

I should add that, although it's straightforward in *this* case, there are other relays on your car that look the same but are slightly different....some have an internal diode, some have two "87" terminals rather than "87-87a", some have only four terminals.
So, if you're ever tempted to swap relays around be careful :-)
