My 96 XJS Convertible will not start. Suspect bad fuel pump but want to verify before replacing. Wiring diagram shows fuel pump relay has two resistors in it. Are all relays the Same?
If not, where can I find the replacement number?

 

Good that you checked. All relays are NOT the same! Some appear the same at first glance but may have diodes or resistors (as you discovered) or different terminal designations.

I don't know the part number off hand, sorry. Others will chime in
