Default replacement fuel tank pad?

Hello,

I'm removed my fuel tank to seal up some pin hole leaks and as you can imagine, my foam pad stinks of fuel. Is it possible this someone caused my leaks? Where can I get replacement foam that I can cut into shape using the old pad as a template? I'm not even sure what this is called. Would NAPA have it? I've seen a similar material used under my Volvo's carpeting so I can't imagine this is rare. Is there a better "upgrade" material I can use?

Thanks!

I replaced mine while I had the tank out. I used a closed cell neoprene rubber I bought from Clark Rubber (similar to wetsuit rubber).

There is also a pop rivet on the RHS of the car that is put in from under neath this rubs on the bottom of the tank, I removed this and re-riveted it in from the top.
