Default Replacing Brake Accumulator Bulb

I was wondering if you guys could tell me if these are the proper steps for replacing the brake accumulator bulb. (1989 XJS 3.6)

1) disconnect ABS relay
2) pump brakes 25 times until no pressure remains
3) get your 8mm allen wrench and unscrew the bulb, making sure to place a lot of towels around the area to catch brake fluid spillage
4) install the new bulb
5) replace ABS relay
6) check brake operation and top up with Dot 4 fluid if necessary

-- I read some instructions on a Saab site, and they recommended removing the brake fluid from the reservoir, but I was not sure if that was necessary if I am not replacing the brake fluid. I just got it changed a few weeks ago.

Thanks!

Your instructions seem fine. I do not believe it is necessary to remove fluid.
