Default Reverse Light Bulb

I've got a burnt reverse bulb and am having trouble locating a new one. It's the 21w festoon type and is apparently pretty unusual. Owner's manual gives the part number as JLM 9592.

I've been to a couple of auto parts stores and have been searching the web for about an hour with no luck. Can anyone give me a lead? Thanks.

Not that special from my memeory.

Measure the length, point to point, then the diameter, go find something close. If what you get is a little too short, CAREFULLY bend the tabs to suit, and of course the same applies if what you get is too long. Just be carefull with the bending, as the lamps are plastic, and old age is creeping in by now.

In case anyone's interested, I was finally able to find the correct bulbs at topbulb.com. They're $4.99 each, so I bought a handfull. As typical, shipping was almost as much as the bulbs.
