Default rough idle and loss of power 1994 xjs 4.0

Hey guys, I'm a new Jaguar owner(father in law gave me 1994 xjs convertible 4.0 for my daughter). It has been sitting for 7 years. I cleaned injectors, replaced idle air control valve, cleaned plugs, new dist.cap and button, cleaned fuel tank, new fuel filter. Car idles very rough, i can hold rpms between 2000-4000 and runs fair. Put a load on it and it falls on its face. Thanks for any suggestions on my problem/s. code FF14

Clean the throttle body, it is a must. Take it off the engine and give it a thorough cleaning. (assuming your same problem doesn't have a FF14 code as well?)

Oops... You have AJ16 which is prone to timing chain strech. Especially if the car was sleeping for 7 years. Mind if I ask how you managed to start it up? Was it not started at least once over that time? There is a highly recommended start-up procedure for AJ6, AJ16 and applicable to any other engine...
