I am trying to take my seats apart to install new leather. I have removed the drivers seat from the car with out any problem. When I turned it over, I can't remove the torx screws that hold the drive rails to the seat. I can remove the front ones, but then the back ones are hidden by the rail. If I have seat forward when removed from the car, I can remove the back ones but not the front. The rails won't move except with power.

I may be doing something stupid here.
It wouldn't be the first time.

I'm sure someone has had this before.

I got it the hard way...take out the front ones, put the seat back in the car, hook up all the wires and run the seat forward. Then remove seat and pull the back torx. Lovely.

Now for the hard part!
