Default Setting the idle speed

Okay, I've cleaned and re-gapped the plugs (which appeared almost new), cleaned up the distributor and replaced the ignition wires.

Upon startup, the engine is silky smooth, but idles quite high (it was doing that before). Drivability is okay, but I'd like to get that idle down.

Once it's warmed up, the idle in park does the surge thing that I've seen described.

Somewhere on here there must be a step-by-step/How to guide on where to start (TPS, throttle disks, throttle linkage, AAV?)

So far in my search, I've not found that document. Is it out there??

Thanks,

Here ya go.

I will look later, for more. The S Type needs some TLC at the moment.
