Default Shock Sensor, Backup Battery, and Strip Lighting

I am trying to keep my 1993 car original and have not made any visual changes. Part of that quest is the Shock Sensor. Mine does not work. I have removed it from it's case and checked the trembler. The LED will flicker and it did work once. It has two spade connection. One has three contacts and the other has four. However, I only can find one three contact connector to attach to the three spade connector in the unit. Looked all over the antenna compartment for a four contact connector or cut wires and found neither. Would appreciate a comment on this problem.

In regard to the backup battery for the security system the proper battery is Eagle Picher CF-1.2 SLA battery that appears to be the original battery. Mine was marked 11 92. I assumed 11 92 was the date of manufacture. The 1.2 is the wattage. Could not find that battery. I found an Eagle Picher CF-6V4.5 SLA battery. It is larger, won't fit in the box, but will fit hidden in the antenna box. Both are 6 vt. This is just an FYI

This was only a thought. I put some 12 vt very bright LED lights in my garage Bought them from Alibaba for about $2.50 for five meters (16ft) These LED's have an adhesive back. I was thinking about putting them around the inside of the hood and trunk of the car, and either hard wiring them with a switch or hooking them up as required. They would be a great safety devise on the side of a dark highway, or when working on your engine. I could keep the originality because they could be remove easily.... Another FYI

I bought a battery from batteries + that just fits in the case. Take the case with you and check batteries. I will look at the wiring of my shock sensor for you when l get back home next week.

I have the original fitting and use instructions scanned l can email you if you want.

Thanks for the response; appreciate it! I went ahead and bought the larger battery since it will be hidden in the antenna compartment and has 4X the wattage . I removed the original battery box and battery and put then in a safe place in a the event I need them for show.
I thank you for looking at the Nudge Box to see if has one or two connections...thank you!

MALC4D
THOSE TWO PUBLICATIONS HELP A LOT!
I found that the shock sensor has only one lead (3 contacts) and that the system will arm itself if left unlocked for 30 seconds (not locked but alarm sounds) I never realized the latter; thought there was a defect in the system.
Do you by any chance have the schematics for the tach and speedo?

I just want to reiterate my thanks,; it was appreciated!

Glad to help.

If you don't want the system to auto arm then unplug the yellow wires.

I'm happy with the auto alarm. Makes a good backup if I forget to lock the car. Received the new larger battery and removed the battery box. The new battery sits on top of the nudge box and has a plastic tie to secure it.
Again thank you for all your assistance

Understand Fig 28.on the Electrical Manual.
I was looking for the schematic for the actual instruments: Tach and Speedo.

Found something on You Tube. Some guy said that PAM, the liguid spray for frying pans, work great on rubber parts. Tried it on the bumpers after using 2000 wet and dry paper. Worked pretty good! Between the paper and the Pam the bumpers look new. FYI
