Default SJX RH door Locks

Been reading a lot of material about door locks not working. My one door wont lock with key or manually from inside and not with fob. Any quick hints before I pull the door panel off.
Thanks

Sometimes if the door latch mechanism doesn't fully engage it jams up the linkage.
Have you checked the door jam for uneven ware from latch?

Be prepared for the Rube Goldberg assembly that makes up the door locking/unlocking function. Your job, which you’ve seemed resigned to accept, will be to find the broken/missing link in that assembly.

I can only hope that whatever it is that has broken, is still available for purchase.

Use the JDHT technical drawings to see if you can make sense of the assembly and match up the parts with what you have inside your door.

Since you’re gonna be in there anyways, might want to lube up the two vertical tracks, and the most important horizontal track on the bottom. I find that silicone paste works best and lasts longest.

Got very lucky with the locks. Little lithium grease and a shot of WD 40. Just kept working the key and interior lock and by gosh it started working. Thanks to all who responded.
