Default Someone Buy This One - PLEASE! (VIN #1844)

Can someone please buy this 1976 Jaguar XJS RHD with Sunroof (VIN #1844)? My garage is full, my outbuilding is full and if I buy another Jag my spouse will absolutely positively kill me. So please someone buy this thing before I click 'Bid Now'.

Two hours left. I can't believe nobody wants this cheap car. If I had any space I would buy it. Unfortunately it is way too cold here to figure out how to stack cars using pallet racks.

Yes! Someone bought it. For $600. Lucky guy (or girl).

Looks like it went for $600. Reasonable value for its condition. I'm looking at a similar condition ( aesthetically ) 86 that runs sweetly. A bit more but not double. A very nice drive-it-home parts donor. Engine and tranny will come out for cleaning and evaluation, but probably not any tear down. A donor drivetrain so I can rebuild my originals without missing out.

I'm glad someone bid on this one. Would hate to see it not even draw interest.

The sunroof and right hand drive and year make this one a good buy. Twenty years from now someone will pull it out of the garage and sell it for $5000+. The creepiest E-Type (much worse than this XJ-S) fetches $10,000 by now.

I am so lucky that my garage is already full of Jags. Otherwise it would have been mine.

I turned down #1090 recently making it within the first 100 RHD cars made. Just wasn't enough originality left l'm afraid.

Not sure Andreas. It had suffered minor engine fire but all replacement parts were included but had a bit of rust and interior including seats had all been redone in velour.
Not sure where you are but that car is out here in Oz.

I just looked at Australian XJS prices. WOW! Looks like the U.S. are bargain basement.

Dengit. I should have bought this car. I just realized that U.K. RHD versions have a higher compression rate and more power than the emissions U.S. models. Could have had a V12!
