Default Steering column for 91 XJS

Hi,
I just bought my first Jaguar and I love it. I bought the car with no key or anything for the key to go into. I would like to replace the complete column as it needs a new steering wheel as well. I know the XJS came with tilt and the XJ6 does not, but would a XJ6 colum fit in my 1991 XJS V12 Convertible? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Not sure about the fit but the XJ6 did have adjustable tilt, both the XJ40 and X300 models at least.
