Straight pipes on Exhaust system for XJS V12
While I was re fitting one side of the Exhaust system on my XJS V12 to day
I noticed that the straight pipe on the other side had a 'clamp on repair section' near the front flange that joins onto the down pipe.
It seems to be fairly solid and don't think it will me give any problems but if I have to replace the straight pipe, I was thinking of using one from my 1988 XJS V12 Scrapper.
As I'm not sure of the condition of both the pipes on the Scrapper, I would want to use the one in the best condition.
But would it make any difference? can any one of the Two straight pipes be used on either side, or are they a handed pair and not interchangeable?
