Called a Kiwi wheel. Fitted to the X300 XJ6's, and to late XJ6 Gold ( XJ40 model) for the UK market. I don't believe they were ever fitted to a car for the US market. I brought in a car from Japan that had them.

I've seen a few Jags sporting this wheel which I find very attractive. I've seen them primarily on XJ40s. Are those wheels a direct bolt on? No spacers needed? I'd like to find a stock set of 16 inch wheels. It sure would give me more freedom in finding performance tires.

Yes, those would be a direct bolt on.

Is there any list of Jaguar wheels and specs that a person could use to evaluate fitment between models? I also have a BMW and there are a couple of full lists of wheels, their original fitment, the offsets etc, etc, - this makes working out which wheels will fit which model a lot easier (eg www.bmwstylewheels.com)

I've always liked that Kiwi style also. I think they came on the standard (non vdp) 94 XJ6 models in the US, and maybe 93.

Yes they are direct bolt on... They do not have any spacer or anything. I put new tires on when I got it a few years ago and put 235/55-16 tires on it which are the same overall size as the factory 235/60-15 so I wouldn't have any issues with rubbing or speedometer being wrong. I bought this car at auction... it was part of a 50 car collection of a man who had died and his children sold the entire collection. It had been stored inside and maintained for about 20 years. As far as I can tell I am the 3rd owner but I don't know much about the cars history.

Kiwi:

This is a kiwi. It does not resemble those wheels at all. Okay, I guess it's fairly round....

Kiwifruit:

If you think the "fruit" part of the name is meaningless, I hope you enjoy grapefruit wine. Because it's bound to be tastier than kiwi salad....
