Default Switch Panel Removal

I've got a 95 XJS and need to check some electrical issues at the switch panel above the radio/ac controls. What I need to know is : How do I remove the panel to gain access to the switches. It's the non-trip panel. The ones with the rear fog lamp and defroster switch on the left and the two interior light controls on the right with the center clock. Thanks for the help!

From memory, the paired switches and the clock are just retained on recess clips as part of the switch and clock surround. If you remove the clock first, you can ease the clips on the switches a bit easier. The veneer surround will usually be on pins at each end that just engage in nylon retainers on the dash, so that just pulls off afterwards.

Good luck

Paul
