If you've done this all-important mod for the Marelli, what was the method you used to cut off the rotor stub. In the article is says it's a hex shaped stub, but mine is round. I am not a machinist nor do I have such tools... I do own a pair of bolt cutters, but they are quite large...

Any tips, suggestions, etc?

 

No worries, mates! I found a nice little drill adapter at Home Depot and screwed on a little 2 1/2" metal cutting disk...Nice! Just bummed there are no more rotor stems to trim around here :-( If you've got a Marelli XJS in So Cal, I'm your man!
