Default Parts for 2011 XKR Mod

Gents,

I'm having some difficulty finding the following part, I'm not even sure whats the proper name for it. But it is a mod for the rear bumper. Thanks for your help as always.

Alex

I know Mina has a rear diffuser but I don't see it up on their website. Call Chris at Mina Galleries in Reseda, CA and ask him to send a picture or tell you where you can see on the website. I ordered my modified rear bumper with diffuser from F/X Designs.

Alex,
If I understand what you are looking for, in your arrow you are pointing to the bottom of a XKR175 bumper. That piece is part of the whole bumper and is not a bolt on. I believe in the following years that bumper came as a aerodynamic package along with the side skirts and lower front bumper treatment.
I hope that helps.

The center part of the lower rear bumper is called a diffuser and it is a bolt-on part. I cannot speak to parts outside of the exhausts. Call Cris at Mina galleries (818) 342-0273. He is the Owner and is very knowledgeable. You can also go to their website for more information.

Check out FrickenJag's post a couple below this one on a carbon fiber rear diffuser project. this may be a solution to what you're looking for.

It's 3 separate sections, and they're part of the Speed Pack bodykit (first produced for the 2008 R-S, then put on the 5.0 cars as an option). The middle section is the diffuser and the two bits on either side are probably called 'rear sill extensions' or some similar name. The diffuser is bolted on; I suspect the sill extensions may be held on with clips and/or self-adhesive strips. I can't find them in the workshop manual.

Judging by the parts manual it is called an Extension Cover and is part number C2P17589 (number 13 in the attached picture)

The rear diffuser is part of the "speed pack". It was on the 2011 175 I sold and is on my 2013 with the dynamic pack option. I would thinK it is quite expensive to order the separate 3 pieces. As suggested, above, you may be better of looking after market. You may also want to search US and UK ebay for salvage parts. I've seen a few XKR-S's and XKR's being parted out on ebay.

I'm working on a similar design to this part at the moment. I too love this look, just wanted to make the design more functional. I'll have photos of the final design shortly, then start on making a prototype.
If you find a good deal on this part let us know. I may order one to reverse engineer.

Regards,
Derek Fricke
