Default Temporary 3.6 engine swap in XJS

I have a V12 currently in my XJS and am removing it in order to work on it. I have an opportunity to get a 3.6 motor with ZF trans, but would like to know how much effort it will be to temporarily replace the V12 and TH400 with the 3.6 + ZF 4HP-22 combo? The guy who's selling the engine wants to sell both the engine and trans for 200 dollars. I don't think he has the ECU with it, so I'll have to work on that problem as well. Also, I read that the XJS with the 3.6 engine had a different bonnet ( It had a bulge ). I'm guessing this will be an issue with my V12 Bonnet? This may be more work than it's worth.

The 3.6 will not fit under a 1985 V12 bonnet. Neither will the engine bay loom, ECU and loom, gear selector quadrant, tacho or speedo be compatible, just for starters. Put the effort into fixing the V12 faster, says I!

Good advice. Even though the engine is for sale at a cheap price, it wouldn't be in the long run after having to convert everything. I'll stick with the V12 plan. Thanks Greg.
