Teves ABS Reader?
Would it benefit me at all to get a Kent Moore J-38716 Breakout, or Pinout Box to read ABS codes on my 96 XJS?
I know it may not flash code numbers, but will I be able to find the faults that the ABS light is trying to tell me?
I don't think I understand what the capabilities of this tool is.
Thanks

Looks like it just measures voltage and resistance values when plugged into the ABS harness. You would definitely need a field service manual for the Teves Mark IV or the values will be meaningless.

Hard to say. If all the Teves systems are exactly the same for every car manufacturer, then you should be ok. However, knowing Jaguar, they probably added their own little twist
All said, even knowing the various values may not necessarily indicate what's wrong with your system. If they are cheap then maybe taking a flyer is ok?
