Hi All,

I did a really dumb thing this week and snapped off my drivers side throttle shaft at the adujstment screw (long story), and I just ordered a good used TB to steal the shaft out of. '85 HE for reference..

Question on gaskets though, the parts book seems to show EBC9635 for the entire run of 5.3's (and 6L's to IIRC), but I cannot find the air cleaner gaskets? I just ordered additional TB to IM gaskets (the 9635's) thinking I could sandwich the same between the filter housing. Good??

Am I blind or are they NLA? I'm going to throw a new set of T-Stats in while I have this apart, as I'm delaying my entire cooling system R&R / I need to drive the car.

Last question, what size is the bit for the TB's? I have misplaced all my torx and star bits..

i used the same gaskets for both sides of the TB's

no issues at all
