Default Throttle cable removal

Hey guys,

I think I am too stupid for this. My throttle cable is supposed to be replaced or better said refurbished with new parts... All connections in the engine bay have - of course - been removed. Even the throttle pedal is out and in my garage. But I had to disconnect the cable from the pedal. Now I can't find a away to get the last fastner undone. I can't see it. Where the heck is it!? Somewhere in the footwell, but where? Screw? Rivet? Sausage? I can't see it...

Cheers for the help

Damien

PS: RHD in case it matters.

Inside the cabin, where the cable comes thru, you'll likely find a nut or clip of some sort which holds the cable casing to the body of the car.

Okay, I thought I could feel something, but I didn't want to rip things like that out without knowing what it was for. Cheers Doug!
