Transmission solenoid wire (GMT400)
Alas when installing the engine/transmission I caught the transmission solenoid wire at the transmission end and pulled it. I have the solenoid end connector and little over 2 ft of wire
It pulled hard enough to extract it from its protective covering.
I can't find a good answer so I'll ask
where does the other end of that wire go? It kind of looks like it goes up into the shifter area?
Thanks!

That makes sense - what was fooling me is that I already had a green and a yellow/green wire on the full throttle microswitch those go down into the valley into a harness. Suggests my breakage is inaccessible without heroics. Since I will need to rewire the solenoid side anyway...read this post on another forum maybe I go ahead and do this? https://forums.jag-lovers.com/t/xj-s...tment/330927/5
My understanding please correct if I am wrong!
The microswitch on the pedestal itself is also related to the blue throttle control valve for full-ish throttle enrichment. The second microswitch is part of a mechanism on the throttle cable that only engages when the gas pedal is mashed to the floor and that switch is what engages the transmission solenoid (?).
