Default Trip Computer

Any ideas how to get the trip computer out of the dash and if the backlight bulbs can be replaced?

My only experience is with the pre facelift. Just pulls out. Hook under the rim and carefully and evenly work it out of the dash working one side then the other.
No memory of backlight bulbs. Display is integral.

If it's a facelift car with an LCD screen, as opposed to a vacuum florescent display, pop out the light switches on either side of the computer and inside you'll see a small bolt on each side that holds the computer in. You'll need a 7mm wrench to remove the bolts.

Bulbs are replaceable. You want a NEO5 bulb I believe.

if you search my posts, I talk about the LED conversion and how to color correct the screen. I find that it runs much cooler probably prolonging its lifespan.

That's assuming it's a facelift. If you add a signature to your posts revealing what kind of car you drive, it'll make vague questions like these easier to answer accurately in the future.
