It is that time to purchase a set of new tyres.
I have Continental Comfort CC5 225 / 55 / 16 at the moment but these are no longer available.

NZ is a moderate temperature country and I do not drive in the rain very often but may need to... as it likes to rain here...
What do you recommend?

Here are a couple of option that are on special... Hyper Drive seem to have well priced tyres...

I'm running the Hankook Ventus Prime 3 in 225/55 16 on my 94 Convertible and they have been great. I also know owners who have fitted the Toyo Proxes in that size on their XJSs (I have those on a Range Rover).

it has been a long time since I have purchased tyres.

 

Whenever I buy tires I find Pirelli to be the best for what I want in a tire.
My current car came with Hankook and I don't have any complaints.
