I would be interested in the drivers side front fender and the hood badge. Some one swapped out my growler for a leaper..

I've read about this! lol! I have the leaper on my "new" 1979 XJS and it looks far better than the growler!! Which I have on my steering wheel...

Just my opinion...

... so do the 1986 interior parts (door and back seat panels fit in a 1979?

If you are addressing me, the 1990 G.W. Bartlett Interiors catalog I am looking at says they are different '81 and later. That doesn't mean they won't fit, just that they are different. I haven't worked on an XJS as old as yours since about 17 years ago, so I have nothing to refer to for comparison. My guess is that they would fit, since the bodyshell is identical.
