Default V12 cold start AAV system replacement

Guys
I have been testing and experimenting over the last few months with a solenoid activated cold start setup to replace the cold start function of the AAV. I have managed to do this while retaining the AAV's tickover adjustment capability.

The main reason was because nowadays I do not use the car every day, and about once a year I was having to un-jam the AAV piston. The new system is cabin switched and you can read the whole intricate story here:
Replacing the Auxiliary Air Valve.pdf

I will be very interested in any comments.
Greg

Hi Greg, excellent write up.
I had the AAV replaced by David Marks garage last year along with some other stuff, if I am ever up to attempting to replace it myself in future your guide will be invaluable
