Default Vacuum Leak 95 4.0 Coupe

My A/C, under acceleration, will shift from front center outlets to windscreen outlets. So I am loosing the reserve vacuum. What I need to know, is there a vacuum canister somewhere under the dash or in a fender wells. Jaguar wants $1,800.00 to remove the dash and find the leaks. I think I will pay myself to fine it...

1800 dollars to find a vacuum leak? Are they encrusting the car with diamonds or serving you Beluga Caviar and Crystal champagne while you wait for the car?

This is easy. Just remote the passanger side knee bolster and look around at the vacuum lines there. In the engine bay there is a non return valve that can also cause this behavior. Mine has done it twice and twice I have fixed it in 30 minutes.
