Default Wanting to add driving lights

I have a 89 convertible and a 86 coupe. I want to remove driving lights and switch from convertible and install in coupe. Do I need to add all additional wiring and relay or is car wired for this as an option.
And advise would be much appreciated.

In the face lift, all wiring is there, just need plugs and switches and there is a configuration plug up under the dash for country specific behaviors. Do not know on the earlier versions though.

My 95 was plug-n-play. The wire harness plugs for the switches are wired for all options, the combination switches use different pins in the universal plugs depending on the switch function. This also includes the clock to trip computer is any easy swap.
