Hi - my 96 XJS is in need of a water pump and one blower motor (need to find out which side left or right - it's at the garage now) - parts on line show me $500-600 for each of these parts - wondering if anyone has a source for used parts or a junker on this. Thanks!

 

Advance Auto shows water pumps to be between $100 and $500. Not sure why the spread is that far.

AutoZone has a new one for $300 and a remanufactured one for half that. That makes sense.

Unless you have your heart set on an OEM, I'd definitely have no issues with throwing a reman pump in there.

Coventry West rebuilds the blower motors, that's probably the best option.

Thanks - so we're having trouble finding this water pump - the version my 96 has has 4 holes tapped into the tapered pulley that power the fan - and every water pump we can find does NOT have the 4 threaded holes. Rather than machining this hoping I can find help finding this part. I'll get the part# and details up - I'm in USA FYI.. thanks for any input.
