Default Water Temp Sensors/Transmitters

On a 1976 V12 pre-HE XJS there are temperature sensors behind the thermotime and CTS switches. I assume the sensor on the right bank behind the thermotime switch, which has a single prong, is the water temperature transmitter and reads ~2200 ohms at ~45 degrees F. The second sensor on the left bank behind the CTS and under the intake manifold, I have no idea what it is for and reads zero ohms. What is this sensor (it has two circular prongs), and what are the normal ohm values for both these two different water temperature sensors? Many thanks!

Could you post a picture.
I'm thinking it's the sensor for the cold start injectors fitted to the pre HE engine. ?

idk the specific purpose but the gauge only reads the right hand one. I think the left hand one is used for the engine management. Like melhook said, could be for the cold start injectors to tell the engine it is cold.
