What does this Radio Wire do?
Hi Guys
I am in the Process of Installing a New Stereo in 'Cherry Blossom' but when I pulled the Old Cage out.
I came across a Red and Purple Wire that had been Taped over and not used, any idea what its used for?
Its the one that is furthest away in the Photo.
What is this Red and Purple Radio Wire For?

If it's purple with a red tracer, then it's for the right courtesy light. I can't tell from the photo which is the main body colour and which is the tracer.
Red/pink is for the radio lighting.
Does the map light work? Might be for that.

Having had time to think about it, there is a possibility that it could be to maintain the Clock that is one of the functions of the New Stereo.
That is not included with the Original Pull Out unit.
I'll have to see if there is a wire left over.
