whew!! found this guy in back yard.
Now you have gone and "triggered" me.
As a licensed relocator down under and keeper of my own collection of these very much misunderstood and maligned creatures l would very much prefer not to see these types of pics here.

Yup, some folks delight in importing interesting critters. An ego thing.
Then they let them loose or they escape. What do they prey on????
My son and his SO have a spread in the Sierra's. Billy and lady. Goats in charge. Plus once, three sheep. Two of the latter just "joined up".
A predator got two of the sheep in one attack. And, in spite of getting the electric fence up and hot, bit Lady.
Enough is enough. Son came over and 'borrowed" my Winchester 94, 30-30 and a single 12 shotgun.
He stood guard and got a shot with the Winchester at a coyote. No carcass. Missed or it managed to get away wounded and may have perished.
More guard nights, no sight of any predator.

Thats no Diamond back, trust me I have seen may of them. Looks like a constrictor of some kind and there is a BIG problem with them in Florida because of some dumbasses buying for pets, then realize just how big they get and release them, which is illegal to do
I have seen heaps of TV regarding the problem you have over there with non natives and l sympathise. Not a lot of non natives down here but the few exceptions have been a disaster, namely rabbits, foxes, cats and cane toads come to mind but there are others.
