Default what is the Jaguar of working gloves?

Not sure what forum to post to... but since I hang out mostly here now - will ask here..

What work gloves are the best? I used all kinds, with last box by Astro Grip orange nitrile gloves. They were good but still rip pretty quickly. Now I need to stock myself on next batch...

I am sure someone figured by now what is the best and where to buy as well.. Please share :-)

I've found that the Microflex Diamond Grip Latex gloves suit me fairly well. They have a lot more "give" before they tear unlike nitrile gloves. This also makes them easier to get on and off. They seem to work well with most fluids except for things like acetone and paint strippers. They're about $18 at most parts stores for 50 pair. I think they could probably be sourced cheaper online, especially if you were to buy a case of them.

So far, the only thing better are orthodontic surgical gloves. They're still latex, but there's a right and left glove in each package which makes them fit way better. They're also pretty thick so they can withstand sharp teeth, I suppose. No idea what they cost though. My wife gets them from the surgical center when they have a surplus.

I just use cheap disposeable rubber gloves. I change them frequently and as 100 only cost something like €5 I don't really bother much...

I used nitrile gloves from Costco. They seem to be quite strong , never rip while stretching them on and hold up to most work. Hardly ever change for a rip, just when they get slippery or I am changing tasks.

just got them, these are good and seem strong. Little 'slippery' for latex gloves - but overall good (can handle beer bottle just fine).

Thank you!

I sell thousands of boxes to dentists every year. The best gloves to use are nitrile. They are more resistant to oils and cleaners than latex gloves. Latex gloves are not good for oils and cleaners. If you must use latex get powder free as the powder carries the latex protein airborne and increases latex sensitivity. Other than that find a glove that fits you best.

Depending upon what I am doing, I really like the Grease Monkey brand. They come in different thicknesses, and I like that you can get a longer gauntlet style. Protects my wrists when I'm diving deeper into something.
