2020mike,

It's difficult to see with it crumpled rather than laid out. But I think it's the Cabriolet Hood Stowage Bag Part number BAC7832.

Thanks Paul, I am getting car on Tuesday so will have a better look. I couldn’t find a picture of that part online to confirm. These is the foldable rear top but not the rear hard top. I found one a couple of years ago but didn’t have a car at the time. I have all ways regretted not buying all three tops off that car. I will get better pics. Here is a quick pic of the treasure I have discovered. V12 as well….

2020mike,

Interesting car! And a manual to boot! Great driving experience!

Have you got ANY evidence at all to show who did the gearbox conversion? Do you know what type of gearbox has been fitted? I also assume that's just an aftermarket steering wheel and that the car was not converted by Lister themselves? Are there any other modifications, bodykit etc on the car?

Cheers

Paul

Hi Paul….One owner/family since new. Complete Lister North America package, except for the custom luggage. I am picking up on Tuesday, but I have keys and title. Getrag trans. 23k miles. I’ll share more once in my driveway. Runs and drives. Bonnett is stuck from owners friend not closing correctly so I am trying to figure out how to “unstuck” it via you tube and forums but no luck so far. This is a Lister-Jaguar North America not the UK mid-80s crazy horsepower and fender flares. There is Road and Track article titles Lister-Jaguar XJ-S NAS you can read online.

H

Here is a picture of an item I found in the trunk. I have an XJ-SC. Maybe has nothing to do with car. I have the targa top bag. Maybe to store the rear roof cover?

2020mike,

If you look up BAC7832 on Jaguar's parts website, I think you'll find its the hood stowage bag.
