From my research the deck height is 221mm, now the disclaimer, this was from google so if I were you I would measure it.

you are getting into some interesting measurements, some deck hites are measured from the main bearing bore edge and some from the center of the actual main bearing itself.

if the block is bored larger the lower liner flange seats will have to be redone to accomodate the bigger liners, you would need to measure all the flange seats to be sure they are correct depth. no variation of more than .001 thousandths, between liner flange seat and top of block.

myself i would try for a slightly higher liner protrusion than factory specs, really jam that head gasket tight, most long race engines failed because of hd gaskets

as a starter ,get a piece of round pipe/.tube,clamp it tightly against the upper main bores, and carefully measure from top of block to the pipe, that should give you a point of hight. with all measurements down you will talk to the piston manufacturer, they should be able to work with you.

OK important to be sure that pipe is centered in main bearing bores, right it all down and study you measurements, front to back and from both sides of block(i have seen some off by as much as .010 difference), actually had a BB chevy off by .020,PITA to correct!

a good idea to measure new liners from flange to top edge, just so you dont get an out of spec one.

do you plan on resurfacing the top of the block face,?

what are the condition of the hold down studs,?

do you plan on anything like better quality studs and nuts, and washers?

some thing you should think about is adding Timesert stud thread inserts, they go into the block if aluminum threads are in rough shape, head holdown studs, wouldnt want to pull the threads when retorquing a hot engine(never retorque when hot).

building an engine is one thing,, making it reliable is another!
