What's missing?
Was installing a new light fixture in the trunk if my 1993.4 XJS 2+2 and I noticed this connector by the CD changer. I assume Jaguar did not run the wire for no reason. Does anyone know what should be on the end of this?

The answer on many other models is it's for the Transit Relay fitted at the factory to prevent the battery going flat during shipping. The relay is removed and discarded by the dealer during PDI (Predelivery Inspection).
I'll take a wild guess the XJS is probably the same and then go and put my flame suit on!
