Default What's missing

I need help identifying what's missing from the fire wall of my car. I have a large opening on the passenger side that lets a lot of hot air in. I plan on just making a plate to cover it but wasn't sure if it was part of the AC

The two sides of the car are symmetrical. If yours was RHD the pedal box would bolt into that hole. As yours is a mid 1980s or earlier car, that space has the vacuum reservoir for the aircon it, covered by a plate, with the screen washer reservoir on top.

Something looks wrong. That isn't a V12 nor an AJ6 in there... So I assume a V8? Then see if you can get the blanking plate

Daim:

Good eye. Tis a Chevy V8. The "ram horn" exhaust manifold is the tip off. Plus the valve cover. GM, definitely is in there.

Blank it off seems to be the fix!!!
