Default Wheels

I've had my 90 convertible for a couple of months, first Jag, and so far so good. I finally figured out the heater a/c system, it works when it wants to and don't mess with it. So that's a done deal.

So far I have a couple of questions about wheels. I have the lattice wheels with the black centers, but, my spare is lattice without the black, it's all chrome. Was the unpainted center an option or has it been stripped? Not a huge deal just kind of curious. Also thinking about changing wheels and wondering what anybody else might be running.

So far I really enjoy driving and looking at the car. Runs good, runs cool and is quieter than I expected it to be. Hard not to drive a little faster than the law allows, which really makes me smile!! There definitely is something about them!!!

The original lattice wheels were silver painted, all silver. If you have anything else I'd say they've been modified/chromed/aftermarket....something other than factory original.

Many guys are going to 16" (or larger) wheels due to the fact the decent, performance type 15" tires are getting very hard to find.

Cheers
DD

All of the really cool Jag owners are going to the "starfish" style wheels. I'd be happy to sacrifice to help out a new Jag owner and trade your lattice wheels for my starfish even up.

Thanks for the replies. It appears mine may have been chromed in the aftermarket. I will do some more looking around. I would post a pic of my wheels, but, I can hardly post a post!

Darel, you should change your user name to, Such A Giver. I appreciate the offer, but, I couldn't live with myself if I took advantage of a PA mountain man.

Does anybody out there have any pics of after market wheels that they're running? I may end up going that route, but, not exactly sure what wheel or size I would like. I would want a combination that will fit without any modifications.

Thanks
