Where is the charcoal canister?
I have a 96 XJS convertible with the I6.
Is it safe to assume that I'll be able to find the charcoal canister somewhere by the fuel tank under the rear of the car?
I want to check out this Rochester Valve to see if it's causing me a little bit of grief. Seems simple enough to check and replace, I just need to know where to look.
Thanks.

Yep. Jack it up, remove the part that covers the left front wheel well, and there it'll be (at least on my '87 V12).
While you are at it might be worth removing the cover behind the wheel and inspecting the radiator overflow tank (if that's where it is in the six).
Cheers,
