Where do these foam blocks go?

Where do these foam blocks go?
In refitting the floor foams, carpets etc in my friends 1996 6 litre, I've found these pieces of foam and can't work out where they fit? I must be having a senior moment as I can't trace them in my own car!
Do they go somewhere in the footwells? Or are they out of the boot ( although he doesn't seem to have dismantled the trim there)?

I only had 94 coupes, and I took everything apart on them.
So I don't recognize those blocks.

OK, I've finally worked it out by pulling all the trim out of my own car.
The blocks fit in to slots in the floor right at the front of the footwell next to the transmission tunnel. They are hidden by the fixed rubber insulation sheet on the inner bulkhead where it runs down to the join with the front of the floorpan. So they'll be on Coupes & Convertibles.
