Hello everyone,

I was wondering is there a location where I can find the XJS recall information. And are the recalls still active for a 1990 vehicle? Do they expire?

Call the local Jag dealer and give them your VIN. They can tell you your car has any "open" recalls.

The vast majority of recalls have no expiration date. Contrary to popular belief there are occassional exceptions.....but I can't think of any that pertain to Jaguars, off hand.

There must be a Federal US recall site like this one in Canada Road Safety Recalls Database.

Two months ago I approached a Lincoln dealer about a recall on a 1996 Continental. The service manager denied the existence of the recall (I really don't know why he would unless he honestly believed what he was saying), so I showed him a print from the website.
