I have 89 xjl convertable with broken left headlight. Single light each side. Will headlights out of. 91 xjl fit the 89?

 

I believe it should. '92 facelift were not the same.

It depends when it was made. All XJSs built after March 1991 are facelift cars. So it would need to be a very early 1991 car for the lights to fit. Ask them to check the VIN last 6. If it's earlier than 179737 it's ok.
