Will XKR wheels fit on XJS?
I have stock 18" wheels on my 01 XKR and just had an idea to try and put them on my XJS. Do you guys think they will fit?
Bolt patterns seem similar, the only question is rear, if it will rub?

Yes the bolt pattern is exactly the same. The rears should fit no problem, but the front is the only concern I would have is with the offset. I would swap them out and put the weight on the car and let us know what you find out. Since I am pretty sure many people like swapping out the stock xjs wheels it would be great knowledge for everyone. A picture would be great as well.
Walter you are correct, but in this case both wheel diameters are very close so if would only be off about 1 mph at 65 mph.

XK ( XKR ) wheels on an XJS
yes, the rears are a perfect fit , no issues anywhere ,
the fronts required a 25mm hub-centric spacer on each hub to allow the wheel to mount over the hub , bolt pattern is perfect ,
the above wheels are 18" 8J and 18" 9J , with 225/40 ZR18 front and 255/35 ZR18 rear tyres
the grease cap will poke out on the front with 25mm spacers , i could loose the cap and pop in a wheel growler, just aint got round to it yet, lol as i'm driving around with a big grin.....

btw , ford changed the stud pcd after 2002 , so the newer later wheels will not fit.........

I think 18" is a bit too much, so for new rims, I'll probably go wide 17 on such old car. For now, I will refurb my 16" Ronals into XKR silver metallic color, to make them pop up a little more.

These are original Ronal 16" wheels, sold as Jaguar approved option in 1982...
I am probably going to sandblast them and spray silver.

I'm having a hard time understanding how spacers move the wheel inward...even after reading this page Rim and Tire upgrade Decision
Ok, whattdoyathink about these BBS's, I scored from my friend to try on.
I only got one wheel, so rear one is awful photoshop. Plus car is int he air, so I had to artificially lower the suspension....
Front hubs fit perfectly, except for BMW center plastic having to come out!
