Wire schematics...help!
Where can I get an online or hardcopy schematic of the harness wires for an early HE (83) XJS? I've already rebuilt the injector harness, so that isn't a problem, but after ripping apart the rest of the under-bonnet harness I find many are cracked, broken and need replacing.
I looked through Kirby's book but didn't see one, but perhaps I haven't found it yet. If there is one and you know what chapter or page it's on I'd appreciate it.
I think as long as I'm rebuilding the under-hood harness I might install a bulkhead connector like most cars have. It certainly would make testing and repairing much easier.

If you don't have the ROM your best hope is www.captainjaguarscathouse.com There is scanned copies of mos of the wiring diagrams.
I am just working through re wiring my cat but am putting a centralised relay box next to the the Master Cylinder. Hopefully it will replace all the relays and fuses located around the engine bay.
The worst thing I am finding is that wires have been pulled out of their connectors.
Let me know if the plans on the website are any help as I can scan the diagrams out of the ROM and send them through.
