Default XJR-S with FF-15 Code

Hi, I've had my 93 XJR-S for a few months now. Just the other day the Check Engine light came on. The code on the display reads FF-15. I believe this represents an air temp sensor failure. I checked the connections on both sensors (left and right sides). They looked good so I replaced both sensors.

I am now trying to clear the error code. I tried disconnecting the battery for the weekend. No Luck.

I then tried starting it 50 times (a hint I got from this forum). Still no luck.

Any thoughts?

Good news. I returned from my trip a bit early and pulled the car out of the garage so I could attempt the procedure. Much to my surprise, when I started the car the engine light was already off. I drove it for about a half hour and it remained off. So the good news is - problem resolved. The bad news - I didn't get to see of the procedure worked. Maybe next time
